Hall of Fame

Aida O’Connor was a local businesswoman and civic leader who founded the EAFB Civilian-Military Support Group in 1989. A tireless servant leader to both the local community and Edwards Air Force Base, she was named the first Honorary AFFTC Commander in 2005.

The organization marked 30 years of service in 2019, the year she passed away. In her honor, the Airman Leadership School’s student resource center at Edwards was dedicated as the Aida O’Connor Student Resource Center.
