Jill was born and raised in the Antelope Valley. She attended AVHS and graduated from AV College with an AA degree before attending California State University Long Beach, graduating with a BA in Radio/TV/Film and minor in Sales/Marketing.

Jill worked for 13 years in careers in television production and corporate real estate for high tech companies, living in Manhattan Beach, Australia, San Francisco, England and New York. She returned “home” to the AV in 2003 and has been a fulltime REALTOR ever since, helping both buyers and sellers throughout the Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita Valley and LA & Kern Counties.

Jill served on the board of directors for the Greater Antelope Valley Association of REALTORS from 2005-2013, serving as President in 2010. She has been a board member for the California Association of REALTORS 2005-2024, holding many leadership positions throughout her tenure of service. She was the Key Contact for Steve Knight when he served in the California State Assembly and Senate. Jill also served as the Federal Political Coordinator for the National Association of REALTORS for Steve Knight when he served as Congressman for the 25th District. Jill served on the board of directors for NAR for many years, completing her appointments in 2024.

Jill’s community service over the years has included the Alpha Charter Guild to AV Hospital, Church, Youth Camps, Father’s Eyes, Royal Family Kids Camps and Palmdale Sheriff Boosters. She has been a supportive member of Civ Mil for years and enjoys serving on the board as a tribute to her dad, Art Furtado who loved serving on the Civ Mil board for many years and shared that passion with his daughter. Jill especially loves how Civ Mil works to build community and support for those who work at Edwards Air Force Base and has such gratitude to be a part of such a worthwhile group of people working together for the community as a whole.
