Former Marine Terrance Norris has served his nation and local community both at the local and federal levels. During his times as a director and secretary of the AV Board of Trade (AVBOT), he travelled to Sacramento and Washington to lobby for various topics of the Antelope Valley with an emphasis on aerospace. Eventually he even made speeches in the state capitol for the Small Business Majority. He is capable in communicating needs to elected officials and working with the press as well. Working with a diversity of board members is a strength of Terrance.

His company, Precision Labs, is co-owned with his wife of 26 years, Silvia Norris. Precision Labs is the region’s only calibration laboratory (TMDE or PMEL) and is one of a handful accredited labs in California. Precision Labs has appeared in national television shows, including one hosted by William Shatner. The state has recognized his company as business of the year through the CoolCalifornia organization for documented environmental actions.
