Scott Cummings Scott Cummings is the General Manager for the Antelope Valley Mall. Scott has been in the shopping industry for over 30 years and has been employed with the Antelope Valley Mall for the past 18 years. Prior to being named General Manager in 2008, Scott Cummings served as the Specialty Leasing Manager and Assistant Manager to the Mall. Through his work with Forest City Enterprises, Scott has participated in over 10 grand openings. |

Jill Furtado Jill was born and raised in the Antelope Valley. She attended Antelope Valley High School and graduated from Antelope Valley College with an AA degree before attending California State University Long Beach, graduating with a BA in Radio/TV/Film and a minor in Sales/Marketing. Jill worked for 13 years in careers in television production and corporate real estate for high tech companies, living in Manhattan Beach, Australia, San Francisco, England and New York. |

Glenn Graham Glenn has lived in the Antelope Valley on and off since 1997 over the course of 5 different assignments to Edwards AFB and other SOCAL locations. He grew up on a farm in Ohio, graduated from the Air Force Academy’s Class of 1988, completed a Master of Science degree at Columbia University in NYC, and received his Air Force pilot’s wings at Williams AFB in Phoenix in 1990. He served as an active-duty officer for 28 years, has flown more than 75 different aircraft types, and has held three command assignments in the Air Force. For the last seven years, he has been the Director of Safety and Mission Assurance at NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center in what he calls his sixth Edwards assignment! He continues to fly multiple aircraft types as a NASA research test pilot and as a USAF Test Pilot School instructor pilot. |

Al Hoffman - Past President Al Hoffman has responsibility as The Boeing Company’s Site Manager, Edwards AFB and the NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center. He is responsible for the integration of Company programs and projects into various installations and organizations and serves as The Boeing Company focal to U.S. Air Force, NASA and other U.S. Government leadership. His background includes avionics maintenance; aircraft and spacecraft manufacturing, testing, and operations; program management, business development; and government relations. |

Terry Landsiedel I moved to the Antelope Valley in 1988. I joined the Civ-Mil Organization in the 90’s and have helped with some of their function. Served four years on the Rosamond Municipal Advisory Council. Two years as a director on the Antelope Valley Chamber, and helped create two new chambers in 2013. |

Lisa Moulton - Past President As a longtime resident of the Antelope Valley, Lisa attended local elementary, Jr. High and Antelope Valley High School. From there she attended Antelope Valley College and graduated from California State University, Northridge. She served as the District Director for Congressman Steve Knight. Previously she has worked in the California State Senate and Assembly. She served as the Secretary for the Los Angeles County Air Show (and is a founding member of the organizational team of the inaugural event in 2014). Lisa is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Edwards Air Force Base Civilian- Military Support Group. Lisa is a member of the Executive Board of Directors for the Antelope Valley Board of Trade. She served on the Board of Directors for Care Net Women’s Resource Center of North County and also serves on the Executive Board of The Marian Bergeson Excellence in Public Services.

Rhonda Nelson Mays Rhonda Nelson Mays was born in California and raised in the Antelope Valley. Ms. Nelson-Mays is very passionate about supporting the military and Edwards Air Force Base, which has a very special place in her heart. Not only did she work on base for many years, her twin daughters were born at the base hospital. She is married to Harold Mays Jr., a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant. As a military dependent she continues to enjoy visiting military bases when she is traveling domestically and abroad.

As a resident of the Antelope Valley since 1988, David has had the privilege to be raised, educated and calls the AV home. David attended Paraclete High School and had the honor of achieving the Eagle Scout rank in the Boy Scouts of America. After high school, David went on to study Business and International Relations in Shanghai, China and Oxford University, U.K. while working to obtain his Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University. | ||

Terry Norris - Vice President | ||
Former Marine Terrance Norris has served his nation and local community both at the local and federal levels. During his times as a director and secretary of the AV Board of Trade (AVBOT), he travelled to Sacramento and Washington to lobby for various topics of the Antelope Valley with an emphasis on aerospace. Eventually he even made speeches in the state capitol for the Small Business Majority. He is capable in communicating needs to elected officials and working with the press as well. In the early 1990’s I joined the Civ-Mil organization. I have serviced as a director since 2006. I serviced six years as a director of Antelope Valley Chamber of Commerce. I helped with bringing the Rosamond Chamber back to Rosamond. Serviced three years as a director and the last two years as Vice President. Helped acquire the property next to the Chamber building that will be used as the new Rosamond Event Center. |

Alexia Svejda Alexia Svejda is a native Idahoan that has called the Antelope Valley home since 1999. She is currently the staff lead on the B3K Aerospace Cluster Initiative for the County of Kern. Julie Swayze-Bowie | ||
Julie Swayze-Bowie was born and raised in San Francisco. She graduated from Sonoma State University with a degree in Business Administration. She has had a fascination with military jets starting at a very young age. Julie joined the Edwards AFB Civ/Mil group in the fall of 2008. She has always been a huge supporter of the military, having a father who fought in WWII as a combat soldier with the legendary 92nd battalion of Buffalo soldiers in Northern Italy. Les Uhazy LESLIE “LES” UHAZY, Ph.D., Professor of Biology Emeritus, Retired: Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of Mathematics, Sciences and Engineering,Antelope Valley College (AVC), served the college and community for thirty-two years. Currently, on the boards of the: Edwards AFB Civilian-Military Support Group, the Flight Test Museum Foundation (Flight Test Historical Foundation), and the AV Eastern Kern STEM Network. Previously served on the Edwards AFB Community Alliance (ECA), the Edwards Restoration Advisory Board, and after 18 years’ service, Emeritus Member, Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC)(Wright-Patterson AFB) Civic Leader Program (CLP) representing Edwards AFB and the Aerospace Valley. Attended the National Security Forum, Air University, Maxwell AFB, and presented on STEM Education in support of AFMC Bases to the annual meeting of the Association of Defense Communities. As an educator and member of the Mathematics, Science, Engineering and Technology Consortium (MSET) brought a baccalaureate engineering program to the Lancaster University Center in response to the engineering needs of local public and private aerospace industry, was a founder of SOAR Early College High School on the AVC campus, and served on the founding board of The Palmdale Aerospace Academy. Les is married to Jane Uhazy.

Matthew Winheim - President
Matthew Winheim has served the Antelope Valley community as a STEM/STEAM educational leader for over 20 years. He has served as a Mathematics teacher, site and district administrator overseeing Math and Science curriculum and instruction, and worked to develop STEM/STEAM educational programs in all grades TK to early college. He has extensive experience in curriculum and professional development facilitation in Mathematics Education and STEM related subjects. He has extensive experience in both traditional and charter educational systems. |
